My name is Gretchen and I have over 12 years of experience face painting at birthday parties, carnivals, fairs, corporate events, family reunions, craft fairs, amusement parks...you name it! No event is too big or small. So why should you hire me? What makes me different from other face painters?

With a lifetime of experience as a fine artist and a professional designer on top of it, I can assure you that I do high quality work. I can even send you samples of my own artwork (not done on skin) if you like! I have never used stamps, stencils, or airbrushes and never will. All my work is done freehand with a paintbrush, and carefully outlined to enhance the detail and visibility of the design

Be assured, however, that if you book ME for your event, you will get ME...the owner of the company, the person with the most experience, and the most at stake when it comes to making you happy!

Just because I am a local small business owner does NOT mean that my company will be "here today, gone tomorrow!" I am a true Minnesotan in the sense that I'm not going anywhere...I've been doing this for nearly 12 years, and am settled here where my entire extended family is, and in it for the long haul!

Every event is unique, and that is why I have an unlimited number of designs to choose from. I often do custom designs, tailoring my selection to fit your event, whether it be a themed birthday party, holiday event, or compay picnic. My design selection is never the same at any two events!

I use only the highest quality hypoallergenic, water-based theatrical makeup, made specifically for skin. It has brilliant colors that shows up on any skin color, doesn't smear, itch, or crack, and stays on all day! I've even seen them last overnight. Yet, they are also easy to wash off with soap and water. I also add glitter to all of my designs at no extra charge for some added sparkle!
